When you're thinking about building your business. When you are thinking about your offer. When you are creating a program. When you are creating your policies, I want you to build that with your future best clients in mind. This is such a high-quality question for you to ask yourselves at all stages of development.

Welcome to Sincerely Future You. Okay, Happsters, this high-quality question may trigger some of the y'all. And am I more loyal to my past clients or my future clients? And this same question can be applied when you just sub out the word clients with business, or business model, or offer or life? Am I more loyal to my past or my future? So much about getting to the next level of your business is about thinking about and serving your future clients. Your future clients are not always the same as your current and past clients. And I want to be really clear that it doesn't mean that your past clients won't also become your future clients. Many of them will as well. But when you're thinking about building your business. When you are thinking about your offer. When you are creating a program. When you were creating your policies, I want you to build that with your future best clients in mind. This is such a high-quality question for you to ask yourselves at all stages of development. Because your future clients are gonna buy at a different price continuously. They will not have thoughts about your new policies, because they don't know the old ones. Check yourself are you still showing up trying to build a new business with your current or past clients in mind, even if they're not a good fit for the business you want to create? Remember, you're never leaving anyone behind. Imagine if a train conductor worried about being responsible for the passengers every time one got off at a stop. No, they go to the next destination, thank goodness. They get ready to speak to the people that are getting on at the next stop, not the ones who rode on the train at one point in their life. That was a weird analogy but just made it up. And I'm feeling like it's really important for you to understand, in real terms, what it does to your business when you are building your future business from your past. Oftentimes, what this does is it stunt the growth of your clients. If you're always thinking about your past clients, you're also thinking about their limitations. Are past and current clients can and will be inspired and latch on to the growth of new blood I call it. Right? Like new business new clients in there. And the same thing goes for your offer. If you're building a new offer, and you are trying to think about the best timeframe for them. And you're thinking about the client that you have that currently doesn't have her schedule all a mess, and she's like, she's needy for you and for your time, then you're going to build an offer that is going to continue to not serve you or her. And then you're really going to limit the number of people and the impact on the future clients that you can have. So you want to be asking yourself at every stage of the game, am I more loyal to my past or to my future clients?
